College of Engineering student ambassadors are currently-enrolled engineering students. They are selected through a highly-competitive process to assist the Director of Engineering Admissions and First-Year Experience. The student ambassadors share their experiences with prospective students and their parents, give tours of the college, host Explore Engineering@Iowa programs, attend Hawkeye Visit Days, etc. The student ambassadors also serve as a resource for current students.

The student ambassadors are located in the Engineering OASIS (Outreach, Admissions, Scholarships, and Inclusion Services) Office in 3307 SC.

Current students can apply to be student ambassadors for the following academic year. Applications are typically available in March and selection is made in April for the following academic year.
